A puppy being house-trained gets through disposable pads at a rate that adds up fast, in money and in waste. This pad does the same job and goes in the washing machine afterwards. Choosing a Size

The pad should be comfortably larger than your dog when it lies down, and larger again if you are using it for house-training — puppies rarely aim for the middle. For crate use, measure the crate floor and take the nearest size under it so the pad lies flat without rucking at the edges.

Please Note

Wash before first use, and wash separately from clothing. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibres and reduces how much the pad absorbs, which is the one thing you need it to do. Do not iron or dry clean, and keep it out of a hot tumble dryer, as high heat damages the waterproof layer. Absorbency is generous but not unlimited; change the pad once it is saturated. Some dogs chew fabric pads, so supervise at first.
