My kitten is quite anxious when it comes to eating, so we decided to try the Licking Mat and it's a success.
What would have been 5 minutes has turned into 15 without choking! I recommend that the introduction of the Licking Mat be progressive, and that if you have 2 meals, one should be with it and the other with your regular feeder to avoid stress or frustration.
Additionally, I love that it's made of silicone because odors don't stick to it (which can be annoying for the cat) and it's very wide so it doesn't bother them with their whiskers (which are super sensitive).
