A long nylon lead for recall practice and sniffing walks in open country. Your dog gets 5, 10 or 15 metres of freedom while you keep a line on them – useful while a recall is still being built, and on Swiss trails where dogs have to stay under control near livestock and wildlife.

• Attach a long line to a well-fitted harness, never to a collar – a dog hitting the end of 15 m at speed can hurt its neck.
• A long line can burn the hands and tangle around legs. Wear gloves and keep the slack managed.
