Plenty of dogs swim happily and still tire faster than their owner expects — especially in a cold Swiss lake, against a current, or on a boat where they might go in unexpectedly. This vest adds buoyancy so a tired dog stays higher in the water, and the grab handle across the back lets you lift them out of a boat or up a steep bank in one movement.

Choosing a Size

• Measure the widest part of your dog’s chest, just behind the front legs, and check it against the size chart in the product photos before ordering.
• Take the larger size if your dog is between two, then tighten the straps to fit.
• This vest is made for puppies and smaller dogs. It is not available in sizes for large breeds.

• This is a buoyancy aid, not certified lifesaving equipment. It helps a swimming dog stay afloat and tire less quickly. It will not keep an unconscious or non-swimming dog’s head above water, and it is not a substitute for your supervision.
• Never leave a dog in the water unattended, in or out of a vest.
• Check the fit before every outing — a loose vest can slip over the head or twist in the water. You should be able to fit two fingers under each strap and no more.
• Introduce it on dry land first, then in shallow calm water, before deep water or a boat.
• Rinse with fresh water after lake or pool use and dry it fully; chlorine and grit shorten the life of the foam and stitching.
• Inspect the foam, straps and handle regularly and replace the vest if anything is compressed, frayed or torn.
