One Button and the Hair Lets Go

The worst part of brushing is picking matted fur out of the bristles afterwards. Press the button and the pins retract, the hair lifts off in one piece, and you carry on. The fine bent pins reach the loose undercoat without scratching skin, which is where most of the shedding lives.

Please Note

Brush in the direction the coat lies and use a light hand — pressing hard on a slicker brush is what causes brush burn. Work through mats with your fingers or a dematting comb first rather than dragging the slicker through them. If the skin looks red or sore, stop and check with your vet.
