Blunt clippers squash the nail rather than cutting it, which hurts and makes the next trim harder. These have sharpened stainless blades and a non-slip grip, so you get through the job quickly while your dog is still sitting still. The safety stop limits how much you can take off in one go.
Take small amounts off at a time and stop before the quick — the pink centre you can see in pale nails. On dark nails, trim a little and look at the cut end; a dark dot in the middle means stop. Keep styptic powder to hand in case you catch it. If your dog will not let you near their feet, a groomer or vet nurse can do it.
Delivered very quickly, good sharpness, well-made material.
